Our Story<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2005, One Genes<\/em><\/strong> was born from a moment of solitude, self-reflection, passion and an unstoppable creative surge. After a college breakup, I found myself back in my childhood dwellings, my original bedroom, searching for direction. With nothing but a sketchbook and a mind full of dreams and ideas, I stayed up late into the night pouring my emotions onto page after page spending countless hours creating.<\/p>\n

Then, something incredible happened. A beautiful logo with a resemblance to the Fibonacci spiral along with an intriguing character emerged-one I hadn’t seen before nor had I planned, but one that felt like it had always been inside my mind. I named him “Goonie,” inspired by one of my all-time favorite childhood films, The Goonies. But more than that, my Goonie symbolized resilience, adventure and pursuit of something greater. Over the next several days, I sketched nearly 400 different variations of it, each one bringing me closer and closer to a vision I couldn’t yet explain but knew something was very unique, familiar and special.<\/p>\n

As a college student, I didn’t have the resources to quickly bring such a high quality brand in One Genes<\/em><\/strong> to life the way I had envisioned, but I never let the dream fade. It stayed with me-growing, evolving, improving and just waiting patiently for the right moment. Now, 2 decades later, that special moment has arrived.<\/p>\n

One Genes<\/strong><\/em> is more than a fashion brand. It’s a lifestyle brand and movement but on creativity, culture and the belief that we are all connected by the same thread-our shared human experiences. It’s for the dreamers, the risk-takers the ones who know they’re meant for something greater.<\/p>\n

What started as a vivid image from my mind to a sketch in my sketchbook in my bedroom while in college is now a brand ready to take on the world. This is our time. This is One Genes<\/strong><\/em>!<\/span><\/p>\n
